What does it mean to be saved?
Being saved means accepting what Jesus Christ
has done for us as individuals,
and asking Him to become our
Savior.
This means believing Jesus was the
Son of God and that
He died on the cross as a sacrifice to pay the
price for our sins.
How do I get saved | The Problem | The Answer | The Result
Why do I need to be saved?
Each person that has ever lived, with the exception
of Jesus,
needs to be saved because each of us have sinned.
We sin any time we do something God has told
us not to do,
or any time we do not do something He has told
us to do.
Because God is holy He cannot be around people
who have sinned
and done wrong things. Just like when you break
a rule at school or
home and get punished for it, there is a punishment
for sinning
and that is, being separated from God forever.
But, God still loves you and wants to be your
friend.
So, He sent His only son to take your punishment
for you.
But, you have to believe Jesus did this for you
and accept it
as a free gift in order to be saved. If you get
saved, the Bible tells us
that you will not only become God's friend but
that
He will adopt you and make you one of His children.

How do I get saved?

Jesus has already
done all the hard work for you,
but there are still some things that you must
do in order to be saved.
Nobody can be saved for you, or get you saved,
you must do this yourself.
